Reliable internet is key to accessing education, healthcare, business and other essential aspects of modern society.
GetConnectedSC, an initiative of the Office of Regulatory Staff, the Department of Administration and statewide community partners, has been working this year to identify the state’s areas of greatest need, invest in broadband infrastructure and provide resources to make broadband available to every home, business and community in the state. We have surveyed more than 18,000 individuals and businesses across the state and taken part in nearly 50 community forum events to inform these investments for maximum impact.
